To add a Custom Post Type (CPT) to the WordPress navigation menu, follow a straightforward process directly from the admin dashboard—no additional plugins or code required. 

Step-by-Step: Add CPT to Menu

1. Access Menus
   • Go to Appearance > Menus in the WordPress admin sidebar. If you have not created a menu, do so first.
2. Enable the CPT in Menu Options
   • Locate the tabs on the left. If plugin CPT is not listed (e.g., “Clubs” or “Competitions”), click the “Screen Options” tab at the top right.
   • In Screen Options, check the box next to your CPT name to make it available for menu selection. See screenshot
3. Add CPT Items to the Menu
   • Expand the CPT tab and choose either single items or the archive link.
   • Select items and click “Add to Menu”.
4. Customize Menu Placement
   • Drag the CPT menu item to the desired position. You can set it as a main item or nest it under another menu.
   • Edit the navigation label as needed for clarity or brevity.
5. Save Menu
   • Always click the “Save Menu” button to apply changes.
